Folding Your Cup

For easy insertion your Pelvi menstrual cup should always be folded prior to inserting. The most common and preferred technique is to fold the cup in half. Hold the cup with your thumb on one side, and your index and middle finger curved around the other side. Then, push your thumb in towards your index fingers so that the opening of the menstrual cup is pinched.

For fist time users try removing and inserting your Menstrual Cup in the shower.

For easier insertion try using water based or natural lubricant. Apply to the outside of the menstrual cup prior or insertion.

When removing the cup insure to relax, if you are tense your vaginal muscles will grip around the cup. Whilst squatting or hovering, take your fingers an pinch the base of the cup, this will break the seal. Then gently pull on the steam and glide the cup out. For fist time users try removing and inserting your Menstrual Cup in the shower.

Cleaning and Storage

Once you have finished your cycle wash the cup thoroughly using a pH-balanced soap and then sterilise in boiling water for 2-3 minutes (no more than 5 minutes). Store your menstrual cup in the satin pouch to allow to air dry. Do not store your menstrual cup in an airtight container.
